Short and sweet… the Colori Flori Summit kicks off on Monday 12 May. If you're still thinking of joining us, get all the details here.
And it’s Day Three of Colori Curious, a program where the modern primaries, Magenta, Primary Yellow and Cyan in combination with white and black are used to mix a wide spectrum of colours. If you’ve just found this, here’s the links to Day One and Day Two’s lessons.
In this lesson we are moving further away from fresh and clean, primary and secondary colours. You will explore more subtle colour combinations where the three modern primaries are mixed with white and black.
As I’ve had some queries, please note that Colori Curious is released as part of the ongoing weekly #coloricombo program and is published here on Substack. There’s an introduction and three lessons for everyone + additional content available exclusively to contributing subscribers.
Lesson Three - Neutrals
In this lesson we will develop more colour mixes to create subtle tones, tints and shades of colour to expand our vocabulary of neutral colours.
Bonus Lessons
There’s an extra video for contributing subscribers coming up where I create a floral artwork using negative painting on top of a background made up of subtle colour tints.
