Valentine’s Day falls in February so I chose “heart” as the monthly Coloricombo theme. All artworks featured this month will have a link to “heart as theme” Today’s artist is one of the best known illustrators famous for his fantasy depictions of, amongst others, the Queen of Hearts.

John Tenniel (1820-1914) was a Victorian-era illustrator celebrated for his collaboration with Lewis Carroll on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.
