The Antelope with the Toilet Seat

For the last week of February I am featuring an image that is loosely linked with this month’s “Heart” theme but it’s not found in a painting.

We are in South Africa and travelled from Cape Town to the Kruger National Park to get up close to the wildlife in this very special place where it’s pretty hot at the moment (41C/106F today). I decided to forego colour choices from an artwork and a featured artist and instead have chosen a beautiful photograph of a waterbuck by my talented brother-in-law.

What has this got to do with a heart you might wonder? Take a look at the nose and you’ll spot the perfect black heart shape. How neat is that?
