October’s theme is “Dog” and this week’s colours have been taken from painting of the world’s most famous cartoon dog, Snoopy (apologies Pluto!).

Snoopy appeared in the majority of Peanuts cartoon strips, which ran from October 2, 1950 to February 13, 2000 and were penned by Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000). In total, Schulz published 17,897 strips - he died in his sleep on February 12 and the final strip was published the following day.
