Summer Creative Retreat 2025

Six days of FREE creative workshops starts TOMORROW...

This is the second year that I will be joining The Pigeon Letters for another creative fun event. This online retreat is curated by Peggy Dean and I’m one of the fifty artists who together will be holding sixty workshop sessions over six days!

All workshops are live and free, mine is at at 2pm San Francisco, on Friday 2 August. That’s 5pm New York, 10pm London, 11pm Berlin and (on Saturday) 1am Dubai and 7am Sydney,

There’s something for everyone: From doodles to digital, pencils to Procreate and crayons to collage, plenty of interesting workshops to be inspired by. Come and play with watercolour, gouache and a wide variety of mixed media, there’s bound to be quite a few workshops that’ll nudge you out of your comfort zone and inspire you to try something new!

Pebbles & Petals

Here’s a quick preview of what I’ll be presenting at SCR25: I’ll be making a floral artwork which links pebbles to the mark making process as well as the actual shapes used in the creation of expressive flowers.

Something similar was shared in a June #coloricombo post, but in my live session on 1 August the project will be a little bit different with a new composition and layering and blending demonstrated.

Pebble Painting

On top of the live session, I’ve recorded two brand new lessonsI using the same materials. I’ll be expanding this into a mini-course, but in the meantime, these are available as part of the Permanent Vacation bundle of extra goodies on SCR25.
