Anne Pratt (1806–1893) was a renowned English illustrator and author known for her exquisite botanical illustrations and popular books. Born in Strood, Kent, as a child Pratt was in poor heath and was virtually confined indoors. She spent her time drawing and developed a passion for botany at a young age.
