No paint this week, mixes with Aquarelle pencils for a change
September’s theme is “Vase” and the colours this week were all taken from a beautiful Stile Liberty vase by Galileo Chini, whose unusual claim to fame was decorating the throne room of the royal palace in Bangkok.
Lori Siebert is my co-host for September and the special tag to use when posting on social media is #colorivase. Lori is currently in Italy and I’m in Greece where we travelled to for our respective art retreats, so things are a bit disrupted. We will, however, be doing a live vase painting session next week on Instagram. I will update on timings for this event.
Mixing
For this week I’ve got a different mixing demo to share: the colours Sunshine, Raspberry, Green Gold & Prussian Blue are all mixed using Aquarelle pencils instead of paint.
