November’s theme of “Cats” continues with a beautiful ginger cat doing what cats do best (apart from sleeping). I thought that ginger cats were always Tom’s, but apparently that’s not a rule - it’s probably around an 80% likelihood. Have you ever had a ginger Queen?

The artwork is from Eileen Mayo (1906–1994), an English-born artist who made her home in Australia and then New Zealand. Mayo was a multi-talented artist known for her drawings, woodcuts, lithographs and silk screening. She also she designed coins, stamps and tapestry and even wrote and illustrated eight books about the natural world.
