I’m trying out something new this week, separating out the mixing and the artwork videos. Everyone can see the mixing demo here and the artwork demo is available by clicking below. The entire video is available to full subscribers.
Our special co-host for November is the incredibly talented Terry Runyan whose adorable felines are instantly recognisable. There are three giveaways this month, including a copy of Terry’s watercolour book, Painting Cats and one of my 2025 calendars published by Flametree.
There was also a half pan set of QoR granulator watercolours to be sent to a full subscriber, a name will be picked randomly and shared next Monday.
To go into the draw for the book and calendar you’ll need to create an artwork, doodle or design in any media using one of November’s #coloricombo colour prompts. Post it on Instagram tagging #mewvember #estemacleod and #terryrunyan.
If you’re not on Instagram you can also post your #mewvember creation in the Creative Prompts Facebook group
All #mewvember participants’ names will go into a draw with the two winners announced here on 2 December and a separate draw for full subscribers at the same time.
Mixing Demo
Back to this week’s demo where I was mixing the harmony of cool colours, the palette consists of Ultramarine Blue, Lavender, Indigo & Green Grey from Week 48.
This is the first time I’ve used Golden’s QoR Watercolor Granulators Half Pan Set (the same kind as the set I’m giving away) so this week it’s more than a mixing demo, it’s also an introduction to the set.
If you’re interested in trying out these colours yourself, here’s a link to them on Amazon 🇬🇧 (my affiliate link).
Let’s Paint Cats….
Keeping with this month’s theme, the mini-course Let’s Paint Cats is available at a 25% discount until the end of November. All of my courses have one year’s access from registration.
Paid Coloricombo subscribers get a 40% discount, please lookout for your exclusive code.
